Cork Events Centre & Convention Venue
The Cork Events Centre was granted planning permission by Cork City Council in December 2014 and, once completed, will be a 6,000-seat venue located on the historic Beamish & Crawford brewery site in the heart of Cork City. The new €53m Events Centre in Cork will be the centrepiece of a €150m Brewery Quarter regeneration of the entire city centre site owned by Heineken Ireland and will be constructed by BAM Contractors.
The Events Centre in the heart of Cork
The Events Centre will be a key component for promoting Cork to conference and convention organisers throughout Ireland and the UK. It has been eveident that Cork has already been punching above its weight on the international stage with almost €9 million in revenue attracted to the Cork region during 2014 by the Cork Convention Bureau, an increase of €8.2 million on the 2013 figure.
The fantastic new conference centre in Ireland is expected to open its doors in time for summer 2018 and will only build on the extensive range of conference facilities and incentives already available for visitors to enjoy events in Cork City and the wider region.
