The British and Irish Section has organised European Congresses on several previous occasions: Liverpool (2008), Dublin (1999), Cambridge (1989) and London (1979).
On holding the event in Cork, Conference Ambassador Dr. Declan Jordan said:
“Organising a conference is a great way to build international networks and in Cork we have great facilities, memorable social events, and supports to maximise the impact for delegates, organisers, and the city itself.”
